The Paddlefish welcome you to experience dragon boating at one of our practice sessions. It is easy! If you are interested in trying dragon boating or have questions, please email us at: pghpfish@gmail.com. We train at the Three Rivers Rowing Boathouse in Millvale.
You can paddle with us for free on three occasions.
We practice on the water from April through October and it is weather dependent.
For winter practice, we move inside the TRRA Millvale Boathouse (near the Millvale Marina) for cardio, weights, and core.

What to bring?
Since dragon boating is a water sport, you will probably get a little wet. You will need to wear water worthy clothing. Performance gear works well and wear water shoes or sneakers. If the weather is cool, layering is best. You will warm up quickly and can adjust your wardrobe. If it is sunny, wear sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. Don’t forget your water bottle.
We will ask you to come 30 minutes before practice so we can fit you with a paddle, PFD (personal flotation device), and instructions to get you in the boat and paddling.
