Another wonderful and productive year for the Paddlefish at Space Coast Dragon Boat Camp in Indian Harbour Beach, Florida. The weather was cloudy but spirits were sunny as we paddled our way through the canals and waterways of this charming community. We had fifteen team members in our boat supplemented by paddlers from Miami and Philadelphia, including our “secret weapon” Andres. All in all a harmonious group. Albert McDonald, our coach, has been paddling competitively for 43 years and has accrued many medals. He focused on relaxing on the recovery, more power through the water,  and a strong finish on the exit. The week built nicely on what we learned at camp from the previous year.

The Paddlefish, pleased by our endurance this early in the year, gave thanks and credit to our coaches for pushing us hard during winter workout. Onward to June mini-camp with Tim Schaus and four races this season!
