Tale of the Channel on this Halloween Saturday was loads of fun and games thanks to the weird, wonderful ways of Coach Bob! Hal and Kathy, afraid the costume rule was a ruse for the newbies, still bravely donned fish heads for the occasion. The fear they faced was not costumes, but being elected team captains for the day!
The day was chilly and the current strong which added to the thrill of competition. Paddling front and back, left and right, tight turns, and grab the flag. The team captains were commanding and the competition intense…….
……but Team Kathy prevailed. Luckily, Kathy and Hal were assured, either way, that the coveted Roy Rogers Cup would be displayed in a prominent place in their home. Until next year!
