Winter Workout!

By November, when dark and cold descend upon the city, and every bit of time on the water has been eked out, we go into the gym. Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday the team engages in the paddle erg for technique and cardio, circuit training for core strength, and free weights. Our Coach sets our schedule and oversees the group. No slacking here!

On this past snowy Saturday, above the sound of the Hawaii 5-0 theme song, a team member reports….”I tried to stay home but you would’t let me!” Kinda sums up the benefits of working out together.
